In celebration of our 10 year anniversary, this month is all about giving back, and we will be doing this in Kenya. Through crowdfunding, we aim to support communities in need by providing essential supplies like food, clothing, and backing small women-owned businesses. We will be heading to Kenya ourselves with 3 of our artists who will join us on this journey. We believe that together, we can make a difference in the lives of Kenyan families.
Recognizing the urgent need for intervention, we are committed to stepping up and addressing the pressing humanitarian crisis unfolding in Kenya. With millions of vulnerable communities in desperate need of assistance, the gravity of the situation cannot be overstated.
Food insecurity looms large as a primary concern, leaving many Kenyan families struggling to secure enough nourishment to sustain themselves. Moreover, the lack of access to clean water further exacerbates the challenges faced by those already burdened by the impact of the prolonged drought.
Additionally, our mission extends beyond mere charity; it’s about empowerment and sustainable impact. By supporting small women-owned businesses, we’re not just providing immediate relief but also fostering economic growth within these communities. We believe in the power of entrepreneurship to uplift individuals and entire regions.
Moreover, our partnership with the Islamic Relief Foundation ensures that our efforts are coordinated effectively and reach those who are most vulnerable. Together, we’re leveraging resources and expertise to maximize the impact of every donation.
Committed to transparency and impact, we strictly adhere to a 100% donation policy. This ensures that every euro donated directly benefits the people in Kenya, with €1,00 translating to €1,00 of aid without any holding for administration or other costs. Additionally, all expenses related to transport, food, accommodation and unexpected expenses for the entire team will be 100% covered by Avalon’s own resources.
The donated funds will be allocated to the following actions:
- Provision of gifts to orphaned families, women, and children with disabilities, such as clothes, shoes, bags, and dignity kits for girls.
- Provision of food to deaf and mentally challenged children in schools.
- Support for small business enterprises owned by needy women to improve the volume of their business – visiting the businesses, assessing the need, and providing necessary support.
- Distribution of food packages.

The current, devastating food crisis is forcing families who depend on livestock for their livelihoods continue to migrate in search of food and water. The situation is growing worse by the day, and many children risk losing their lives.
With the assistance of the Islamic Relief Foundation, we’ll ensure your donations reach those who need them most. We, as Avalon, will ensure that all of the donated money will reach the intended recipients.
